Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a committed Year 2 Teacher to join an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Central Birmingham. This Year 2 position will begin after October half term and will run until the end of the academic year.

In this Year 2 class teacher’s position, you will be responsible for a class of 28 children and will work alongside another experienced Year 2 Teacher. You will have the full range of teaching and learning responsibilities and will be expected to attend parent’s evenings etc. The school are looking for a driven individual with a proven track record in Key Stage 1.

This large, 2 form entry Manchester Primary School is spearheaded by an experienced Head Teacher who is supportive to all members of staff and has a brilliant reputation in the local area. In this role, you will benefit from the support of an experienced senior leadership team and a borough leading CPD program. Located centrally, this school is accessible from all areas of Birmingham and boasts a large car park.

Essential requirements:

  • Fully qualified Teacher Status
  • Teaching experience in the United Kingdom
  • Experience in Keys Stage 1 is essential and experience in Year 2 is desired.
  • The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.
  • A proven track record with references to support this
