Vision for Education are seeking an experienced KS2 teacher with knowledge of Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs. About the role We are seeking highly motivated teacher who can show commitment and patience to help nurture the students through their time in education and help make a real difference in their lives. The role consists of: Ensuring the planning reflects the needs of pupils and the aims and objectives of the school. Assisting in implementing the Behaviour Management system. Participating in further training and professional development. Maintaining a stimulating work environment that meets the sensory and communication needs of pupils. Safeguarding and promote welfare of pupils. Settings targets to work towards the pupils achievement. Contribute to the wider school life. There are specialising in supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, complex needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The team are solution-focused and dedicated to help improve outcomes for vulnerable pupils and offer outstanding education they deserve. Requirements To be considered for the role of SEMH Teacher you will: Have a DBS on the update service or willing to start a new application. Hold QTS. Have a desire to support children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Competent behaviour management skills. A flexible, adaptable and positive attitude. Skills of empathy, listening and communication. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: At least one years experience of working in a learning/childcare setting.
