Part Time In-House Legal Counsel

Job Title: In-House Legal Counsel
Reporting to: Operations Director / Development Director / CEO
Looking for an In-House Counsel to assist and advise on:
- Construction litigation (adjudication, final account settlements, contractual disputes).
- JCT contract preparation.
- Consultant appointments and warranties.
- General contract litigation (breach of Development Agreements, Funding Agreements, Breach of Consultant Appointments and claims against PI).
- PII claims.
- Planning law.
The successful candidate will be responsible to conduct necessary case research to aid with any legal matter. Further, they will be a key component in communications with external solicitors and consultants.
Qualifications
- UK qualified (at least 3 years PQE)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in legal assistance
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols
- Background in any/all of the following:
- Construction law
- Planning law
