Salary: £40,931 – £51,805 per annum – AC3.

The Role:

As the Department of Health at UCB expands its offering of pre-registration nursing programmes, we are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to be the Programme Lead of our Nursing Degree Apprenticeships (Adult and Mental Health).

The successful applicant will join a team of nursing academics, assessors and employer partners in the delivery of our Nursing Degree Apprenticeship programmes.

You will have a leadership role within the team, including helping to develop the curriculum and supporting the lecturing team to monitor apprentices’ progress, from their enrolment onto the programme through to graduation.

Candidate Requirements:

As a Senior Lecturer, you will have experience of working in nurse education and will have a particular interest in how apprenticeship programmes can be used to enhance the nursing workforce and will have a key role in liaison with our employer and placement partners.

You will be a nurse or midwife with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and hold a degree in a relevant healthcare subject Additionally, you will be hold or be willing to work towards a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject.
