Job role: Office Manager (DBS Check Required)

Job Type: Temporary Contract whilst a Permanent position is being recruited for.

Location: Coventry

Pay Rate: £11.20 per hour

Working Hours : Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm

Start Date: Immediate Start

Office Angels are delighted to partner with an established Academy Trust of an educational SEN provision in Coventry that are seeking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to take on day-to-day responsibility of administration duties across the academy. This role will enable you to add real value to the team and ensure the successful running of a busy academy office.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the school office
  • Meeting and diary management
  • Supporting the Head Teacher and HR administration, providing data to payroll and maintaining attendance records
  • Running reception
  • Responsible for sense checking documentation ensuring files are accurate
  • Efficiently set up processes and systems
  • Hands on approach to the office administration and maintain a close relationship with the Headteacher
  • Provide support be the main point of contact pupils, parents, staff, governors and visitors
  • To be an ambassador for both the school and the wider Trust, demonstrating exceptional people skills
  • Commitment to providing a high level of customer service and showing absolute professionalism at all times
  • Proactive and highly efficient to resolve challenging situations using initiative
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Responsible to manage the admin and site services teams
  • Completing accident reports forms and submit as appropriate of pupils
  • Experience/ Skills required for this role:

  • Previous Office Management experience (Essential)
  • Experience working in a school setting (Desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS Check (Essential)
  • Competent with using SIMS systems
  • Organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative and make effective decisions
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and discretion of confidential matters
  • Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
