A leading Road Transport company are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative witha Valid Counter Balance Certificate to join their growing and progressive company. This company is anything but a stereotypical transport company that operates to give the highest accredited professional service.
As a Warehouse Operative shifts would be Mon- Fri – 12pm- 10pm
Job Duties as a Warehouse Operative:
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles using counter balance
- Check weighting and dimming of freight
- To handle and move all freight using the correct equipment provided
- Ensure all deliveries are checked. loaded safely and any damage reported immediately
- Using systems to input production information
- To ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and all H&S issues are reported immediately
- Work alongside the warehouse and transport team
To be successful in this role we would like to talk to you if you have :
- Previous experience in a warehouse operative role
- Hold Valid FLT Training Cert (Counter balance)
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Great Admin Skills
- Good IT skills
- Be able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 10 weeks)
- Provide a full 5-year check-able history (no gaps longer than 28 days)
