An interim Head of Finance is sought to join this Manchester-based Housing Association. 6 months.
This Head of Finance role will support the Finance Director and Executive Team. The role will oversee the finance team and take responsibility for assuring on the completeness, accuracy and reliability of all financial information within the organisation. You will consistently look for ways to improve the financial control framework and manage risk.
- Reporting into the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:
- Financial modelling of 10 year business plan
- Preparation of detailed yearly budgets
- Overseeing the finance team ensuring best practice
- Review monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and seek continuous improvements
- Work closely with finance business partners to ensure best practice is embedded within the organisation
- Financial planning and modelling working closely with the FD
- Lead and motivate direct reports
- Forecasting
- Ad hoc duties
YOU:
- ACA,ACCA,CIMA qualified accountant
- Previous experience in a head of finance capacity
- Experience of staff management: appraisals, motivation, development
- Knowledge of financial/business planning
- Excellent communication, influential with ability to challenge
- Social Housing experience advantageous but not essential
- Unit 4 experience advantageous
This is an immediate start with a minimum term of 6 months.
