This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Community Intravenous Therapy Team providing services across Oldham.

The role involves delivering treatments within patient’s home environments or within the ambulatory clinic based at Butler Green, whilst supporting and coaching the rest of the team.

The Home IV team are a highly enthusiastic and motivated team, in ensuring they continuously deliver high standards of care at all times.

Main duties of the job

The team deliver services to domiciliary and ambulatory patients working within the Oldham footprint. The team have skilled nurses and staff to deliver an excellent service to our patients. The newly vacant post requires someone with IV skills and with a good understanding of local and key drivers for service delivery. 

The role involves liaising with other services regarding referrals, treatment plans and discharge. Along with clinical assessments of patients who are receiving treatment and the prescribing of appropriate medications. Therefore a V NMP qualification would be beneficial for the role, or a clear motivation to gain this qualification.
