About the role

As an Engineering Technician, you will play an important part in supporting the operation, by providing first response to engineering fault conditions, reactive and planned maintenance activities as well as proactive improvement works.

As part of the engineering team you will be in a unit made up of Technicians, Engineers & development engineers as well as a team leader & manager.

You will carry out planned maintenance across the site ensuring correct procedures are followed, respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns resolving issues and action repairs.

You will look at data to find solutions to improve MHe performance working closely with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments.

Please note, our engineering team work 12-hour shifts (Panama shift pattern) including night shifts and weekend working.

As an engineering technician you will continuously be developing your skill set, learning from highly skilled engineers to attend reactive and planned maintenance on the most advanced automated equipment & machinery

About you

Some technical ability relating to automation would be desirable but training is given, ideally with some experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance.

An engineering qualification would be great. An organised, capable team player with excellent communication skills will be key to your success.

Both mechanical & electrical biased will be considered for the role.
