Financial Inclusion Officer

Our client is looking for a Financial Inclusion Officer to support their tenants to maximize their income and improve their financial wellbeing.

Hours of Work: 35 Hours, Permanent

Location: Tongwynlais, Cardiff with fully flexible agile working options

Salary: £28,451 to £29,948

Financial Inclusion Officer Duties:

Working closely with colleagues in the Housing Team, the Financial Inclusion Officer will provide support and assistance to their tenants with budgeting, income maximization and welfare benefits. Crucially you will provide much needed support with universal credit applications and housing benefit claims as well as raising awareness of current and future welfare reform changes.

Financial Inclusion Officer Requirements:

Relevant and proven experience within the financial inclusion, welfare benefits or money advice sector is essential for this role, along with a good knowledge of welfare reform, housing benefits, budgeting and delivering financial inclusion initiatives. IT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications are also essential.
