Solution Architect – O2C experience – Outside IR35

We are currently recruiting for a Solution Architect experienced in Order-to-Cash Platforms. This is on an initial 3 month contract, remote and outside IR35.

As a response to changing market conditions, customer expectations and the opportunity to create and sell new digital products and services, our client is rapidly enhancing its order-to-cash capabilities from both a process and technology perspective.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong and proven background in the solution architecture of order-to-cash platforms and services including in-depth experience of Salesforce technologies, leading e-commerce platforms, subscription engines, services such as tax (Onesource) and payments (Stripe / Cybersource), integration with dependent services such as access and identity management / entitlement / fulfilment, mulesoft APIs, AWS technologies and the integration with core ERP platforms such as SAP ECC or S4/Hana and Oracle eBS
  • Experience of defining compliant architectures for sales, order management and online payment journeys for complex orders. Ideally selling digital products, subscriptions and non-subscription, via Order Management, Billing and Subscription Management capabilities. Ideally integrated with the Fulfilment, Customer Service and Financial Management capabilities.
  • Experience of evolving the data flows and data management associated with customers, products, orders, payments etc.
  • Experience of the Compliance and Regulatory concerns related to the Sales and Billing operational environment and how that impacts capabilities, platforms and solutions.
  • Experience of working within Agile and non-Agile working practices and frameworks
  • Extensive experience performing in an SA role across multiple divisions or business units, developing and maturing the architecture capabilities, while also aligning with a centralised, federated or co-ordinated EA capability
  • Extensive experience of working with Business Leadership and critical senior stakeholders, e.g. Divisional CEO, SMT, Market or Product Owners, to define and align architectures to strategic objectives
  • Extensive experience collaborating with CIO, CTO and IT Leadership, including governance, conflict and strategic alignment scenarios
  • Experience of adopting/adapting multiple architectural methodologies and frameworks (e,g, TOGAF, Zachman), relevant industry associations and reference models (e.g. DMBOK, APCQ, etc.) and the tools or notations (e.g. BPML) used to define and communicate architectures with all stakeholder groups
  • Experience working with in global corporate organisations operating within ITIL Service Management , IT Control, Risk management and compliance frameworks
