We are assisting one of our Secondary Schools in Sheffield in appointing a Pastoral Manager.

The school is located in the heart of Sheffield and promotes a supportive work environment for all the staff members.

The School will offer –

* Manage the day to day running of the Pastoral care and support of students

* Manage the curriculum delivery and the pastoral care of students

* Liaise with colleagues to understand the needs of each student you are working with

* Work with key stage leaders to improve retention, behaviour and engagement

* Analyse the Pastoral behaviour data and to advise senior and appropriate staff of behaviour, safeguarding and curriculum concerns as they arise.

* Develop strategies for students with short/long term behavioural/social difficulties

* Liaise with outside agencies on behalf of the student/parents and keep in contact and update all parties.

* Check attendance data and inform key stage leaders of any issues
