Career Teachers are currently looking to source a cover supervisor who is available to work full or part time within secondary schools from September across the Doncaster and Worksop areas. This is a flexible role and can accommodate full and part time – it can fit in around the days you want to work.
Your job will be to manage the classroom and ensure the children are on task with their work. You could be managing classes of up to 30, so you will need to be confident with behaviour management. You will look to create and maintain a good learning environment for students so that they can complete the required work to the best possible standards.
You will be able to strive for high standards, and be comfortable working with other teachers and colleagues – being able to accurately follow instructions and being on hand to help out. You should be passionate about working with children and having a commitment at playing your part in developing the character of students. It is a very responsible role, and one which can give you a great insight into working inside a classroom and prepare you if you did want to complete teacher training in the future.
