Rostered part of a team to deliver effectiverail replacement service for internal and external train operating companies(TOCs), working a shift pattern based on a 24/7 roster, includes weekend workand night workAuthor and distribute incident reports wherenecessary to support the compliance arm of the businessRespond to TOC/customer requirements bysourcing, procuring and managing alternative road transport services (taxi andcoach) and co-ordination staffLiaising with other External TOCs during jointoperationsEnsure all services are monitored and trackedto ensure that they are running on time.Proactively manage operational issues arisingon the day.Work closely with TOC Controllers and suppliersby communicating on a regular basis

Experience in a contact or support centreenvironment.Strong incident reporting and report writingskillsAbility to deal with complex information.Ability to work under pressureA professional telephone manner with ability tonegotiate best price.High level of attention to detailStrong I.T. skills with computer literacy in avariety of applications (Microsoft word / Excel / PowerPoint)
Familiarity with rules and regulations of boththe railway and road transport industry (desirable)Awareness and understanding of basic EU and GBDomestic driving hours (desirable)Experience of working in the transport industry(desirable)
