Main duties of the job

The postholder will provide administrative support across all service areas of the healthcare service at Healthy Prestatyn/Rhuddlan Iach.

This will require the post holder to manage diaries resolving conflicting diary appointments, organise meetings, prepare meeting papers and take minutes of meetings. 

The postholder will source and provide information when required, to include report collation and analysis in line with local and national reporting mechanisms for the different service areas.

Working as part of the teams the postholder will be the first point of contact for the teams and play a key role in supporting the Data Manager. The postholder will also receive and welcome visitors to the department.

To provide administrative support to assist in the safe and efficient delivery of healthcare Healthy Prestatyn/Rhuddlan Iach. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 in Administration or Equivalent of knowledge/Experience
  • Knowledge of NHS
  • Desirable criteria

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Equivalent
  • Some knowledge of Health Board IT Systems. A high degree of numeracy
  • Shortlisting Criteria

  • Significant Office Administration Experience
  • Experience of Communicating directly at all levels in an organisation
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Desirable criteria

  • Experience in Primary Care Computerised Administration systems. Knowledge and Understanding of Microsoft
  • NHS Experience
  • Ability to speak Welsh
