We are proud to advertise on behalf of Derbyshire Police force for a HR Administrator.

The purpose of this role is to provide a range of administrative duties and support to the HR function at the force.

The Detail:

Salary: £10.21 an hour

Location: Hybrid

Duration: 5 months

Hours: 37 hours, Monday-Friday, 9-5

The Duties:

  • Provide general administrative support to HR teams including recording information on computer systems and general records.
  • Accurately process and record information in accordance with published timetables
  • Liaise with outside agencies to arrange workshops, training and well-being initiatives.
  • Deal with enquiries from internal and external customers (via the telephone and face to face) in a timely manner, personally resolving matters ensuring appropriate handover.
  • Arrange and attend meetings to take notes and minutes.
  • To carry out any reasonable duties within the overall function commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of the post.
  • Skills and Requirements:

  • GCSE English Language Grade ‘C’ or above or equivalent qualification or Proven ability/experience of communicating information effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel with the ability to compile and present data, maintain and update records.
  • Experience of communicating with a wide range of people, including the general public, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience of working on own initiative and prioritising workload.
  • There is a requirement to travel around the County for which access to transport is required.
  • Experience of working within an HR environment
