Residential Block Manager

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 – 6pm ( hour lunch )

Salary: £22, – £32, (depending on experience)

Location: Chelmsford

Our successful client is recruiting a Property Manager to join their growing Block Management Team. As Property Manager you will be responsible for managing multiple blocks, conducting quarterly visits and coordinating maintenance and specialist teams to make sure that any works are carried out to time scale and budget.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage portfolio of blocks
  • Dealing with leaseholders’ enquiries appertaining to the development.
  • Ensure the property operates as smoothly as possible.
  • Knowledge of Sections 20s( desirable)
  • Answering telephones/fielding calls in a professional and efficient manner, thus maintaining a professional association with clients and colleagues
  • Attend site meetings, coordinating maintenance and specialist teams to make sure that any works are carried out to time scale and budget
  • Appointing Contractors and overseeing work to a high standard
  • Liaising with Resident Directors, Freeholders, Leaseholders and Tenants in a polite professional manner always
  • Approving invoices for payment
  • REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Have good organisation and administrative skills
  • Be able to learn whilst working
  • Work within a team and individually when required
  • Plan and priorities work for both yourself and the Property Assistants
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to build and maintain client relationships
  • Experience and knowledge within the block management industry
