Your responsibilities

The test house technician will be a part of the team working in the Doncaster Schenck Process research centre which is a world class facility for pneumatic conveying and injection technologies. The role provides interesting and varied work in support of the Test House Engineers.

The main part of the role will be to assist with conveying trials, by helping to set up and dismantle industrial scale equipment and cleaning down the test rig / facility post trials.

The technician will also have responsibilities for basic day to day maintenance within the test facilitie, such as routine inspections (ladders, FLT, racking etc), maintaining stock of critical consumables and keeping the work shop area clean and tidy.

Your qualifications

Required

  • Can do, hands on attitude in what can be a dirty industrial environment.

  • Conscientious and takes ownership of work.

  • Likes to work as part of a small team.

  • Very strong health and safety focus

  • Desirable

  • Basic Mechanical skills (use of manual hand tools)

  • Fork Lift Truck Licence
