Location- Peterborough

Salary- £42,000-£45,000 per annum + other great benefits available

Working Hours- 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday

 

crooton has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Home Manager to join our client’s Ofsted Registered Children Home located in Peterborough.

As a Registered Home Manager within Children Residential Home, you will be responsible for delivering services to be fully compliant with legislation and regulation requirements, effective development, and delivery of high-quality residential services to young people and their support network to help improve outcomes. Our client’s sole aim is to provide positive outcomes for all children, no matter how complex their needs may appear, their focus is to enrich their lives, make them feel safe, and ensure their home is welcoming and beautiful.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

·      Responsibility for day-to-day operations/management of an Ofsted-regulated home

·      To ensure the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care are delivered consistently.

·      To ensure the strategic overview and vision of the organisation are embedded in policies, and procedures and all management plans are in partnership with the company’s ethos.

·      To ensure the home maximises resources within a planned timescale and ensure all services are delivered in a way that maximises the participation of young people respects their rights, and is responsive to their wishes and views.

·      To ensure all necessary documentation required by regulators is completed to a high standard and readily available for inspections, checks, and interviews as required.

·      Taking overall responsibility for all staff, delegating effectively and appropriately

·      Developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with partner agencies and any clinical teams to ensure individual assessment plans and support packages are

·      achievable and adhered to.

·      To ensure that all children have a full and appropriate education timetable, to be able to form positive relationships within education institutions, leading promoting, and advocating for the educational need.

 

The ideal candidate will hold the followings skills and/ or experience:

·      Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent

·      Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

·      Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 points

·      At least 2 years’ experience of managing an Ofsted registered Good or Outstanding Children Residential Home

·      Knowledge of Ofsted Inspections and level of standards required

·      Experience of managing an effective team

·      A proven track record
