The Ground Operations Officer is based within our Aviation business area.

The role

The difference our new Ground Operations Officer will make
As a Ground Operations Officer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Assisting with the management of the Company Fleet Plan.

Day to day, you’ll assist with the management of the Company Fleet Plan ensuring the integrity of the plan and providing notification to relevant staff of potential areas of conflict or business risk, liase with internal Departments to ensure that there is a clear understanding of customer requirements including Commercial Ad-Hoc tasking. Help with the production and management of Pilot Rosters in accordance with the Ground Operations and Operations Manuals and through liaison with the Flight Operations department ensure that all internal pilot training requirements are identified, ensuring integrity of the system and Company operations.

Essential experience

* UK Driving License.
* Excellent “people” skills with ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with all stakeholders.
* Must be capable of working unsupervised within a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
* Attention to detail and thoroughness.
* Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and database systems
* Previous aviation operations experience.
* Obtain or have the ability to obtain BPSS Clearance
