Warehouse Operative – Chelmsford – Immediate Start
24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client, a major retailer based in Chelmsford, Essex.
About you:
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise under pressure and work on your own initiative. Previous experience in a Warehouse environment is not essential but is an advantage. Must be able to drive.
Duties of Warehouse Operative:
Roles are temporary ongoing with opportunities for long term assignments.
We are looking for people with a good attitude and enthusiasm; warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.
Duties will include Picking packaged food within chill and ambient environments
Some heavy lifting involved – full Manual Handling Training Provided
Use of LLOPs (full training provided)
Operating the latest voice activated picking system (full training provided)
Quality checking goods
Stock put away
General Warehouse Duties
Shift and Pay Information for Warehouse Operative:
Day Shift Start Time: 5am
Shifts between 8 and 12 hours long
Any 5 out of 7 working days, 2 days off in the work
One weekend off every three weeks
Pay Information:
£13.05 an hour (from 4am to 10pm)
£16.31 an hour (from 10pm to 4am)
£19.57 an hour Bank Holiday Days
£24.46 an hour Bank Holiday Nights
