This Commercial Accountant for one of the largest consultancy based in the West End (WC2) is a pivotal position for one of the largest consultancy firms in the world. You will help the Finance Manager build the finance function, put processes in place and refine existing one. The role is also looking for someone who wants progression as in 2/3 years the role will progress into a manager. Please find brief outlook below.

  • Prepare monthly journals for the London office for review at the appropriate time within he close period, facilitating a smooth 4 day close
  • Journal international payroll entries and tax offsets
  • Journal the London Office vacation accrual for US GAAP
  • Check and post cost reallocation journals pre-close
  • Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations, including multiple bonus reconciliations and raise correcting journals as necessary
  • Monthly trial balance checks to support an accurate close
  • Assist with the annual planning cycle, forecasting compensation, liaising with key stakeholders in the process
  • Support P11d and PSA analysis where necessary
  • Year end ad-hoc analysis and adjustments as needed
