Our client is a globally leading public services provider who are seeking an experienced and driven Data Quality Manager to join their ever-growing and highly successful team on a Remote basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a FTSE company with excellent career progression opportunities. The company has 6 offices throughout the UK & Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, working in several large industries across these regions. Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics & Strategic Performance, you will be joining a newly formed but strong Analytics and Performance team, to ensure quality of data and data integrity across all systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
Set, Manage and Monitor Data Quality Metrics for Point of Capture
Identify Data Quality issues as they occur, along with any risks and vulnerabilities within the database
Manage correction of issues with key stakeholders
Data Quality Analysis including Completeness, validity, timeliness, volume & trends
Identification of root cause impact (pareto-principle)
Work within the Appian based data capture solution to identify process capability
Facilitate improvements and countermeasures derived from the root causes
System development including story definition (including data validation), impact on MI and BAT definition
Update Data Quality Analysis system syntaxes within Power BI as appropriate
Track and monitor JIRA cases as appropriate
Impact analysis of business process change on DQ analysis, MI and update of Syntaxes.
Reference Data Management / Maintenance
Presentation of findings in regular formal governance meeting
Present and communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders
Work with the Change Manager to ensure all projects and risks are appropriately logged and tracked to completion
Support the Senior Analysts in the resolution of data integrity risks as identified via Power BI development and contractual reporting assurance
Requirements:
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritising own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt
Experience in long-distance inter-departmental liaison and collaborative working
Some travel across sites will be required
2 years plus experience in DQM tools and techniques
Experience in Microsoft Power BI is desirable
Experience in Microsoft Excel is essential
Experience in Appian would be advantageous
Experience working/assisting in the creation of databases
Previous experience in database development and testing would be advantageous
