An opportunity has arisen for a First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the SOUTH ADRS Team. The post holder is responsible for managing their own community caseload under direct supervision from a senior Community Addictions Nurse or Nurse Team Leader. The post holder provides a service to a defined geographical area for patients who are experiencing addiction problems who may be vulnerable and who may have complex health and social care needs. The post holder has a key role in promoting and developing the role of the Community Addictions Nurse. The post holder has an important role in supporting practice education of students nurses, The post holder will play a key part in delivering integrated addiction services within the Glasgow Alcohol Drug and Recovery services across South Glasgow Sector. Caring is fundamental to nursing services and to all nursing functions. The core values of nursing must underpin the practice of every nurse and drive care that promotes positive and equitable engagement with patients, families and carers as the central focus of practice..
