IT Support Technician £30k – £35k

About the role

My client who works in the Arts Industry is looking for a bright and enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join their rapidly growing team. In this role the successful candidate will be tasked with managing the IT across the wider business including both hardware and software. Additionally, you will also be responsible for key projects including overseeing IT migration projects and ensuring that their data is secure. This is a fast paced and hands on role with excellent scope for progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage migration projects from Google Suite to Office
  • Manage data security within the wider business to make sure the company’s data is securely backed up
  • Investigate new and already existing systems to ensure that the business can grow at an increased pace in due time.
  • Provide BAU which includes laptop builds, printers and mobile phones
  • Securing networks and advising users on best practices
  • Oversee phone systems, in studio cameras and all other hardware across the business.
  • Office email, Teams and SharePoint Administration
  • Manage end-to-end IT set-up for new studios and global roll-out
  • Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience of Google Workspace and Microsoft
  • Prior experience managing IT migration projects
  • Prior experience of Macs and Windows 10
  • Good knowledge of administering Azure
  • To have a qualification within a technical degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work to tight deadlines
  • To have a general passion for IT and working with new technologies
