We are looking for a part qualified or finalist level Finance Analyst/Business Partner to join a Global Energy Giant as a Senior Finance Analyst. Paying £50k and fully remote, this role is a business partnering, commercial focused role. You will be the business partner to two of the company’s sales teams. This position is solely focused on Revenue and Cost of Sales.

The Role

  • You will sit at the heart of all key decisions impacting gross margin, making a significant positive impact on performance, and helping the business to deliver its strategic and financial gross margin targets.
  • You will provide the glue that links Finance, Wholesale Market Optimisations and Sales and Marketing.
  • Producing monthly forecasts, you’ll ensure the appropriate escalation of risks and opportunities and will work within the Medium-Term Plan and Forecast guidance set, developing robust plans in partnership with the business to develop challenging but achievable forecasts.
  • Using your stakeholder engagement skills, you will build strong working relationships with management teams to optimise financial performance and will be proactive by bringing insights and ideas to influence business performance and decision making.

    • Your Profile

  • You will need to be a part qualified accountant or a finalist (CIMA/ACCA)
  • A business partnering or commercial finance background is essential.
  • A basic level of management accounting is highly desirable.
