The company offer Hybrid working patterns with 2-3 days max in the office.

Role: Accounts Assistant

Location: Bradley Stoke (BS32)

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £12-£13per hour plus holiday pay (£24,000 – £26,000)

Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Processing payments, purchasing invoices, incoming payments, and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases, then filing hard copies as required.
  • Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
  • Matching GRN’s
  • Processing subcontractor labour only Invoices & complying with Construction Industry Scheme Tax requirements & returns
  • Processing subcontractor labour & material Invoices & complying with Construction Industry Scheme Tax requirements & returns
  • Submitting monthly PAYE & NI returns to HMRC
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Assisting in developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets

To be considered you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Ideally AAT Qualified
  • Strong experience in the MS Office range (In particular excel)
  • Confident communication style and happy dealing with a range of internal and external connections
  • Must have excellent organisation skills
