Senior Planning Officer

ASAP Start

£30 – £40 per hour PAYE

Umbrella options available

6 months – Possible extension

Hybrid – would need to be in the office a minimum 1 day a week

There has been an unprecedented increase in planning applications submitted across London and specifically within Croydon off the back of Covid-19. This post will help with the workload and provides expert advice to get through applications swiftly. To ensure these applications progress we need to recruit swiftly to ensure no delay in service.

Planning experience of dealing with a varying caseload including validation and a complex caseload of householder, complex minor, and potentially small major applications; (2) ability to write clear planning reports and pre-application advice letters; and (3) time/priority management to balance decision making and pre-application services within the target deadlines.
