Job: Fire Door & Compartmentation Inspector

Location: South (travel across the full South-East will be required)

Salary/Benefits : £30,000-£45,000 (depending on experience and knowledge)

My client is looking for an individual to join their rapidly expanding team in the South to deliver a gold standard service within the passive fire and sealing business.     Responsibilities include:

  • Fire door inspection, fire stopping and compartmentation surveys
  • Completing invasive and visual inspections of fire doors and fire stopping your findings in line with current regulations and test data
  • Measuring fire doors for manufacturing
  • Monitor recording software to assist managers in the day to day running of their jobs
  • Deal with customers to maintain an excellent customer service
  • Experience and skill required:

  • Basic knowledge of fire doors and fire stopping
  • Full driving license and vehicle
  • Computer skills (preferable)- training will be provided for the in-house survey applications and spreadsheets
  • Willing to travel across Southeast of England, may require occasional overnight stays
