Job title: Project Controls Manager
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Start date: ASAP – Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Pay rate: £55 – £60 per hour umbrella
Location: Cumbria / Hybrid working
Hours of work: 37-40hrs Mon-Fri
Applicants must have experience of the following:
– Be able to use P6
– Be able to use Microsoft Excel
– Degree qualified
– Knowledge of risk management software
– Schedule integrity tools
Candidates would ideally have:
– Nuclear or decommissioning experience
– Be able to use Microsoft project
Role information:
– To ensure compliance with company and client standards (management plans) and contract requirements (NEC 3) whilst providing assurance, governance, and general oversight for cost and planning management.
– To manage, support and train personnel in the completion of period end updates and their communication to internal and external customers and major stakeholders
– Manage the maintenance, production, and monitoring of integrated scope, schedule, cost and baselines & underpinning data at the appropriate level of detail
– Perform regular functional peer review and support the PC QA process and support and mentor the development of PC personnel
– Supporting the payment application, KPI reporting and efficiency trackers
– Support the forecasting of future potential savings and efficiencies based on the delivery / contract baseline programmes
