The role

The difference our new Airfield Support Team (AST) Supervisor will make
As an Airfield Support Team (AST) Supervisor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Being accountable for the delivery and provision of CIS, Communications and infra structure support to several airfields in the Cranwell area.

Day to day, you’ll Deliver the contracted AST task, ensure all tasks meet or exceed contractual SLA’s.
Ensure all equipment is managed, maintained, and supplied to meet contractual needs, maintain appropriate liaison with customers and ensure availability of emergency communication systems.

Essential experience

* Proven ability to be an effective team member.
* Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals Level 2.
* Working at heights experience.
* Driving license.
* RAF Trade Group 4 Ground Radio Engineering Experience.
* Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals.
* Working at Height qualification.
* RADHAZ experience.
* Ex-military telecommunications mechanic, engineer, or communications operator
* Obtain or have the ability to obtain MOD security clearance.
