Fantastic opportunity to join an award winning manufacturing and supply company based in Thatcham, our client is looking for an Operations Administration Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and offering a salary of £22, – £24,.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Placement of purchase orders with suppliers
Building of relationships with suppliers
Expediting of placed purchase orders
Cross checking of supplier Order Acknowledgements
Negotiation of Payment Terms
Weekly reports
Invoice queries
Arranging AP’s and making credit card payments
Re-sourcing of equipment from alternative channels
Arrangement of Collection / Delivery
Give clearance instructions to freight forwarders and couriers
To check order shipping methods, transit times and costs
Assisting with obtaining quotations for shipping costs
Gather relevant information for certificate of origin applications
Update & maintain HS Codes on databases and spreadsheets
