We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist, to help support efficient cash collection from customers around the group and ensure that customer billing issues are resolved effectively. This role will report to the Senior Credit Controller.

The role (what youll do):

  • Contacting customers for payment of outstanding invoices
  • Taking payments from customers bank accounts through our payment provider
  • Allocation of customer payments received in the bank accounts to the correct Netsuite account
  • Raising of manual invoices and credit notes
  • Processing of referral refunds
  • Managing support tickets within ServiceCloud
  • Success Measures:

  • Overdue customer debts reduce as a % of turnover
  • Reduction in company bad debt write offs
  • Resolution of customer support tickets within 24 hours
  • About you (what we are looking for):

    Essentials

  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable function within a medium sized or large organisation
  • An understanding of the cash collection process
  • Well organised to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
  • A team player who supports colleagues effectively
  • A fast learner who can adapt to new situations
  • Desirables

  • Experience within a SaaS or subscription organisation with regular customer payments
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge
