Our Employment, Skills and Enterprise (ESE) business provides support to citizens, from supporting the unemployed into sustainable work, to upskilling those with low or no vocational skills, so they can progress in work.

We are currently recruiting for our team, and we are looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Coordinator.

As Digital Marketing Coordinator you’ll deliver digital marketing, engagement and content for the Restart Scheme contract. You will work within the ESE Marketing Team to lead campaign activity across a range of digital channels including website, email marketing and social media. Key duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for the management and use of the email marketing platform and delivery of all email marketing activity for the e and other programmes when required.
  • Develop and issue regular e-newsletters and campaigns to a range of audiences to drive employer engagement and to keep partners and stakeholders updated on activities.
  • Manage data, opt-in and opt-out processes for email marketing and ensure adherence to Data Protection regulations and consent; interrogate databases of contacts through segmentation to deliver targeted, relevant marketing messages.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of websites and management of CMS, including the creation of campaigns and landing pages to drive engagement with the service.
  • Share content using of a range of social media platforms; design and deliver digital marketing campaigns across a range of platforms to drive engagement with the service.
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Partners to create joined up digital campaigns and initiatives that amplify messages across the contract geography; work with internal teams and Supply Chain Partners to create video case studies which demonstrate the impact of the restart programme.
  • What you will need to do the role:

    If you are already an experienced Digital Marketing professional working within B2B or the Employment & Skills environment, then we want to hear from you! Ideally, you’ll be degree level (or equivalent) educated specifically within marketing, digital marketing or a related subject and / or have proven experience in a Digital Marketing role. You’ll be highly competent in the use of digital marketing best practice and social media engagement strategies. To be successful in the role you must have experience of website content management systems, be able to use marketing technology and be passionate about producing rich marketing content, including video clips for use in digital campaigns.
