You will lead a team of consultants working with clients to deliver sustainability strategy, statements, whole life carbon assessments and advice for a range of clients within the built environment sector.

Your new role, what’s involved?

  • Undertake the role of embodied carbon and lifecycle assessment lead within the Sustainable Places Team.
  • Lead a team of consultants to help them realise their full potential while delivering high quality work for our clients.
  • Have a clear business development plan based upon known clients and developing new relationships using our technical skills including leading on the preparation of fees and proposals
  • Lead teams preparing Energy & Sustainability Statements for developments to complement planning submissions. This will include coordination and managing energy / sustainability contributions from many different design team stakeholders.
  • Take a leadership role and contribute to business strategy as part of the Sustainable Places Management Team

    Our team works on new build, regeneration and refurbishment schemes for clients ranging from local authorities to developers to real estate companies. We help clients understand their exposure to embodied carbon and how they can reduce these emissions across the lifetime of their projects.

    You will part of the expanding Sustainability and Climate Change Pillar, working with likeminded colleagues in disciplines such as ESG, climate risk and carbon accounting

    We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A passion for low carbon, low energy design. A background in built environment sustainability would be preferable across the public and/or private sector, particularly in real estate
  • Team leadership and people management experience, able to motivate and direct team members to delivering for clients
  • A background in sustainable planning, masterplanning, real estate or construction would be advantageous
  • Ability to develop business development and pursuit plans, build relationships with clients and grow a team
  • Understand commerciality, with the ability to build credible fee proposals and deliver competent financial management.
