The Background

We are recruiting for an Information Systems Integration Lead to join a leading Defence organisation on a contract basis. Please note this role can be based at any of the 3 sites mentioned above and will likely require infrequent travel to other sites as and when required.

The Role

As a Systems Integration Lead you will work as part of the dedicated development team in delivering a new project utilising Cloud technologies to help meet key business needs. In this role you will assist with developing and validating solutions and start off the implementation phase of solutions. Throughout the process you will analyse and assess the strategies to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose and that risk is successfully mitigated.

You

To be a successful Systems Integration Lead you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the defence sector
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure and operating standards such as SQL, Active Director, Virtual Machines, Licensing and Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Strong experience in installing server based applications and the life cycle of information systems including developing new technology
