As a Product Manager, you are responsible for owning the UK product vision for Tax and its associated areas. You will work with customers, business stakeholders and the other Product Managers to identify key enhancements for these products and with Caseware International to have them prioritized appropriately and champion their importance for the UK market.

  • Highlight of your responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and champion CaseWare UKs Tax vision and strategy. Drive items to help achieve the organisations short and long-term goals.
  • Own CaseWare UKs Tax roadmap and ensure the visibility of such across the UK business
  • Manage, plan, and coordinate the delivery of new products and enhancements of existing products
  • Regularly evangelise the strategy so all stakeholders are aligned, have enough context to make informed decisions, and understand where we are going.
  • Be the voice of customers. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and our customers. Bring the customer’s voice into the product prioritisation process. Drive for the best customer experience possible. 
  • Work closely with developers to deliver on any features. 
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
  • Manage product profitability and commercial success own the business case
  • Provide marketing with insights on key differentiators and messages
  • Manage all aspects of your products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
  • Foster an environment that promotes innovation. Think beyond what the customer is asking for and look for what the customer hasn’t even considered.
  • Participate in Agile scrum meetings and drive solutions to completion, working with Agile teams. Support the agile process internally.
  • Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product plays a critical role in creating alignment between stakeholders and engineering as well as between platforms and solutions to ensure requirements are delivered. 
  • Provide go-to-market support during product launches.
  • Determine metrics that should be used to measure success of initiatives and the overall product.
  • Take a keen interest in becoming an expert on the domain, the market, and key trends relevant to CaseWare. 
  • Communicate confidently with tax experts and non-tax technical individuals on a variety of direct tax technical matters.
  • Analyse HMRC documentation, manuals and statute to understand and clearly specify tax technical product requirements.
  • Liaise with HMRC on upcoming technical, software and service changes and consultations.
  • We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an excellent understanding of Tax and Accounting and Practice Management.
  • Has a relevant tax qualification (such as CTA/ ATT)
  • Has a keen interest in the future of the Tax Industry in general
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Build the right relationship with your customers, colleagues and other distributors.
  • Is a highly motivated & proactive contributor. You dont wait to be told what to do.
  • You are passionate about solving the problems faced by tax practitioners and accountants
  • A collaborative, team-first attitude is essential to the job.
  • Product Management experience is a nice to have.
