Pre-Construction Manager, Manchester

I am working with a gas and energy engineering specialist who build and maintain national infrastructure across the UK. My Client is looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join their busy team during a very busy period.

With plenty of opportunity for progression, the client in question is passionate in helping their employees grow!

Responsibilities

  • Undertake site tender visits
  • Review tender documents such as design and contractual documents, to create a construction programme
  • Develop resource schedules based on programme to be provided to Estimating team
  • Coordinate tendering activities such that proposals, pre-qualification and tender support objectives are achieved
  • Review of submission documents
  • Establish risk and opportunity register for each tender
  • Lead tender handover meetings alongside operational team upon successful award of a project
  • Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Some flexibility of working hours may be required
  • Gas, Pipelines or Cross Country Utilities experience is desired as a PM or CM
  • Civil and mechanical experience would be beneficial

  • 60-65,000 per annum – based upon experience
