To provide information and appropriate support to Critical Care/PACU colleagues.
Provide a comprehensive secretarial / administrative service to the Senior Nurse, Intensivists and Clinical Staff in ITU / HDU.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Provide an efficient and effective secretarial service to the Senior Nurse, Unit Manager, Intensivists and Duty Consultant together with administrative / clerical support to clinical staff within ITU / HDU.
Ensure timely and accurate unit clinical data is recorded, collated and validated for the purpose of demonstrating clinical effectiveness.
Provide supervision of, and training of unit clerks to include use of unit databases and IT packages.
The post holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive high quality administrative service.

Liaise with, Hospital Site Manager, Senior Nurse Manager, Nursing Staff, Consultants and other departments i.e. Ward Watcher, ICNARC, Personnel and other Secretaries and admin staff both internal and external to the Health
Maintain effective communication with colleagues and relay information accurately and timely from all sources.
Work at all times as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, promoting good working relationships.
