About the role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioner / Nurse to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based in Macclesfield, South Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioner / Nurse to join their friendly theatre team on a permanent basis. The hospital practices advanced treatments and is in the process of upgrading to state-of-the-art equipment widening their scope of what they can offer their patients. This versatile private hospital offers screening and rehabilitation as well as surgical procedures across a range of specialist fields. This includes orthopaedics, general surgery and cosmetic.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as a Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioner / Nurse and will be responsible for:

  • Preparing the operating theatre / anaesthetic room for surgery
  • Preparing instrumentation, equipment and supplies
  • Ensuring waste is kept to a minimum
  • Run theatre list without supervision
  • Perform anaesthetic duties
  • Supervise/ mentor junior staff
  • Work across a variety of specialities including general surgery, orthopaedic, ENT

Who we’re looking for

  • Be HCPC Registered or NMC registered with an Anaesthetic module- your pin must have no restrictions
  • Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • ALS / ILS desirable
  • At least 1 years experience in Anaesthetic / recovery
  • Excellent communication skills
