Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • To manage solar PV installations, ensuring MCS & RECC standards are met
  • To develop an effective installation network
  • Provide technical support for the internal teams
  • Managing the cost of delivery
  • Maintaining own industry knowledge and communicating to internal team

    • Furthermore they will be pivotal in leading and overseeing the following:

  • Operational lead for the solar PV & Battery business
  • Recruiting, Onboarding and Supervising sub-contractor installation teams to grow network
  • Carry out WIP and Quality inspections and provide reports
  • Maintain own industry certification and work with Safety & Quality Manager to maintain relevant company accreditations and work processes
  • Maintaining good working relationships with external clients and contract managers
  • Maintain regular contact with internal teams
  • To provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with the current health and safety and industry legislation and undertaken in a diligent manner, considering customers cultural and diversity needs are managed
  • Maintain effective communication processes to liaise with all areas of the business
  • Contribute to changing processes
  • Support a culture which promotes the business as a socially responsible employer, which recognises the absolute importance of health and safety and environmentally responsible behaviour.

    The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Design & Installation of Solar PV & batteries – Residential (essential)
  • Installing Electrical Vehicle Charging Points – Residential & Commercial (Desirable)
  • Management of Sub contractors and installation standards (Required)
  • Recruiting sub contractors (Desired)
  • Implementing industry installation & Health & Safety standards (Required)
  • ASHP, boiler, Battery charging, solar installations (desirable)

    • Business understanding of the following:

  • Working with external clients and contractors
  • Energy Efficiency funded works sector
  • Commercial awareness
  • Customer service
