Our client based in Northampton are looking for Drivers Mates to join their team. This is long-term, ongoing work for the right candidate. This particular client deals with a range of household items, ranging from small items such as screws and diy tools to kitchens and bathrooms.

Fixed Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday (Extra hours available some Saturdays) 0700hrs until finish

    • Pay Rate:

  • Paying £10.50 per hour

    • This site offers:

  • Full training provided on-site
  • Long-term work possible temp to perm for the right candidates after the qualifying period

    • Responsibilities of the Drivers Mate:

  • Supporting driver getting to each destination
  • Calling ahead to customers prior to delivery
  • Some heavy lifting, to lift items into customers houses
  • Unload and load from trailers

    • Requirements:

  • Comfortable with manual lifting
  • Good accuracy and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to targets
