This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

To promote the well being of people and to facilitate their access to mental health and wellbeing services by providing assessment and direct patient care within the GP Practice. Ensuring access to the wider network of self help, 3rd Sector organisations, link worker network, mental health and wellbeing Primary care therapies and any other relevant services.

To provide guidance and support to GPs and other healthcare staff in order to assist them in managing their patients mental health and wellbeing/psychological difficulties

To provide mental health and wellbeing guidance and support to all staff within the Practice and within non-statutory and community agencies.
