I am looking to speak with Geo-Environmental Consultant situated in central Leeds for an award-winning nationwide consultancy company that work on a wide range of extremely complex contaminated land and remediation projects.

The role will suit a Geo-Environmental Consultant that has experience in phase 1 site investigation and phase 2 factual or interpretive reporting with the chance to advance their skills in remediation strategies as well as verification and implementation of these strategies, which should be taken as an opportunity for a geo-environmental consultant to progress their career to the highest degree.

As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, your responsibilities will involve designing and delivering ground investigations and writing up technical reports including interpretative, remedial strategies, Q/DQRA, conceptual site models as well as preparing bids and tenders.

Geo-Environmental Consultant Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry or environmental science. (required)
  • Advanced degree in geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry or environmental science. (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in groundwater and soil and groundwater sampling for contaminated site investigation and remediation
  • Experience with visualization tools (AutoCAD ArcGIS) and/or groundwater flow and geochemical modelling software (Modflow, MT3D, geochemical equilibrium models. (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills program that the company are offering within the role.
