Universities in Greenwich are looking for a Student Wellbeing Coordinator with a background in mental health to join their team to provide support and prepare clinical assessments reviewing needs and risks of students.

  • Responsibilities

  • Research & interpret and manipulate data using a variety of systems, analysing and reporting key findings.
  • Review and monitor processes, procedures and associated documentation drawing in specialist knowledge, implementing or making recommendations for changes as appropriate.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance in unpredictable situations and enable appropriate solutions.
  • Acts in a way that demonstrates the University’s commitment to Equality and Diversity for staff. Students and partners.
  • Requirements

  • A relevant professional qualification such as Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Community Psychiatric Nurse/ Social Advisor/ Occupations Therapist/ Probation Officer and/or substantial experience of providing mental health advice and assessment to vulnerable adults.
  • Registration and professional standing with an appropriate professional body relevant to the area of mental health (Desirable).
  • Work experience in a demanding environment NHS, Social Work or voluntary sector with clients with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
  • Offering criss mangement and suicide preventions / intervention.
  • Analysis, interpretation and reporting on data.
  • Drawing on professional / specialist knowledge to solve presenting problems.
