An IT Services company are currently partnering with a global banking organisation who are undergoing a large IT transformation programme, which has created an opportunity for a Storage Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Storage Administration, and support of Enterprise Storage systems.
*Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on Storage Environment.
*System technical documentation for existing and new builds/configuration.
*Design, planning and implementation of Storage solutions at Enterprise scale
Experience Required:
*Should have 5+ years of experience in Storage Administration
*Good experience in design, planning and implementation of Storage solutions at Enterprise scale
*Understanding of functional requirements and translation of business requirements into technical specifications
*Good understanding on Data center architecture and Automation technologies
*Working Experience in handling and troubleshooting Storage Products such as Dell VMAX-3, PMAX, Pure and HP
*Experience in implementing Time Finder Snap/Clone and remote replication using SRDF/S, A & AR at the Symmetrix PowerMax & VMAX
*Experience in working on Storage Migration projects and Data Migration tools such as Cirrus or any equivalent tool
*Working Experience on Cisco and Brocade Switches administration, troubleshooting and performance analysis
Please note that at this stage, successful candidates will only be allowed to proceed via PAYE/Umbrella company due to IR35.
