Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with a local primary school in North Liverpool who are seeking two qualified and experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work within their school. One post is working in our Reception class with a child and the other role is working in our Year 5 class with a child. You will be working with teaching and support staff who are committed to improving the outcomes of all our children. This will be achieved through observing, monitoring, assessing and evaluating their progress and help plan a range of curriculum activities. You will be expected to develop a good relationship with all and also attend training as required. The successful candidate will work seamlessly with the Headteacher, Governors and staff to ensure inclusive and outstanding learning for our pupils. 

Personal Qualities:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to the post. They will have knowledge and skills to be an effective staff member within the setting. They will also be proactive, flexible, reliable and a good timekeeper. It is also important to have a sense of humour and to show empathy towards the children. The post holder must hold relevant qualifications and be able to demonstrate experience of working with children.
