IT Service Manager – Fast Growing Leisure, Sports & Hospitality Group

We are a diverse group consisting of businesses within the Sports, extreme leisure & hospitality industries. Founded nearly 100 years ago we now employ over 1000 people up and down the UK & Ireland.

With the aggressive expansion plans of the group to grow our current 25 sites, coupled with an increasingly diverse range of IT systems and supporting partners we are now looking for an experienced IT Service Manager to Support the Group IT Manager & DPO.

The candidate will report directly to the Group IT Manager & DPO and work closely to help develop and implement the IT systems strategic plan. In addition, they will communicate, liaise with and help manage a range of external service providers to ensure they meet the agreed SLA’s.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with and receive direction from the Group IT Manager to ensure strategic goals are met
  • Communicate with service providers, sub-contractors, engineers and suppliers providing guidance and direction as appropriate
  • Drive projects forward to achieve targets within budget and timelines
  • Assist with procuring hardware and software for projects
  • Provide technical assistance to stakeholders at all levels
  • Support with installations of Point of Sale (POS) hardware and software, as well as Networking and connectivity across sites
  • Site visits to administer & sign off installations
  • Project administration, progress tracking, tracking of hardware deliveries

Skills & Experiences Required

  • IT Service Management, Service Delivery or IT Management background
  • IT professional with up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
  • Excellent technically minded administrator
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Passionate about the customer experience and delivering results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Used to dealing with all levels of stakeholders
  • Strong customer focus with a positive approach to stakeholders’ requirements

*£50,000 – £62,000 (dependent on experience) & Annual Bonus & Great Benefits

*Driving License Required
