We are currently looking for a Test Manager to join our busy team in Sheffield!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly enthusiastic, experienced and driven Non-Functional Test Manager. With full accountability for the delivery of Non-Functional Testing you will be looked upon as an expert in this field, someone who will help identify, develop and execute innovative testing solutions, applying the latest techniques and evaluating the latest technologies. As well as being a member of the Quality Assurance Management Team.
You will work closely with the Director Of Quality Assurance to implement a clear overarching Non-Functional Test strategy within the area.
Location: Remote working but occasional requirements to travel to our Sheffield office or customer sites.
Test Manager Duties:
- Review supplier Testing strategies to ensure industry and company standards are adhered to.
- Select and put in place commercial and contractual frameworks to enable strategic partners to deliver cost-effective services that can scale.
- Manage a comprehensive schedule with volumes and timescales that enables suppliers to translate requirements into deliverables.
- Develop quality criteria to measure progress and drive continuous improvement processes so we adopt a right first-time approach
- Review plans across factory delivery and program deployments ensuring test coverage meet the risk profile and priorities are met.

- Manage QA Test Team in Embedded System Integration, Functional, Non-functional
- Implement a new non-functional test stream:
- Install product software on test benches and perform testing of deployment and configuration processes.
- Work with team Test Lead and SMEs to plan test approach and define strategy
- Work with team Test Leads and SMEs to provide Test Impact Assessments (estimation of effort) and produce Test Documentation
- Coordination with Test Leads on remote sites and external global partners to consolidate reporting and test results
- Drive forward the automation test strategy and guide the team in the use of the agile test approach and ensure QA Team adherence to ISO9001 agile lifecycle
- Ensure test adherence/coverage to product requirements
- Monthly KPI Reporting to key stakeholders and senior leaders
- Perform handovers through gate reviews with the DevOps team (to deliver deployable release)
- Conduct TRAW (Test Risk Assessment Workshop) for Scenario review
- Demonstrate an improvement in business and/or system knowledge in your relevant program line
Test Manager Requirements:
We are interested in hearing from you, if you have most of the following attributes:
- Must Have 10+ years of experience on Test Management wherein at least 5 years of experience in working on banking Projects.
- Previous testing experience in test consultancy, and migration management for at least a major bank project.
- Experience with Analysing NFR and converting them into Testable requirements
- Experience in Test data, Test execution and strong analytical skills to ensure the solution meets/exceeds requirements
- Development of robust Performance Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews
- Strong Leadership skills
- Managing multiple Product workstreams
- Technical aptitude
- Procedurale Driven
- Attention to detail
- Able to deal with technical ambiguity and obfuscation
- Degree, or equivalent experience in a technical discipline
- ISTQB accréditation
