Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established property and real estate company based in Oxfordshire. The purpose of the role is to support the Commercial Financial Analyst and wider financial team and take full ownership of several of the companies entities.
Your new role
As the successful candidate your responsibilities will include:
Participate in and support month and year end processes
Calculate monthly Royalty provisions
Prepare Royalty payments, liaising with external stakeholders on approvals, amendments and more
Maintain Fixed Asset Registers
Balance sheet reconciliations across all entities
Liaising with tax department on VAT reports across entities, reconciling to GL and agreeing payments
Corporation Tax calculation at month/year end, reconciling to GL and providing analysis for statutory financial statements
Assisting with price uploads across all entities and statutory audits
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting process and maintain Cashflow forecast
Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Participate in induction activities as required
What you’ll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate you will need:
Experience and understanding of accounting principles and practices including experience with corporate financial accounting, and administrative information system
Fluency in European languages advantageous
Analytical skills
Team player strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Ability to implement process improvement
Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite
Experience in the use of accounting specific software (Oracle, SAP, Sage, etc.)
The ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work, handle pressure of meeting monthly deadlines
The ability to monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures
Strong communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Equal Opportunity Employment and Occupational Safety and Health principles and practices
